Providing delicious, hygienic food to devotees at affordable prices is our top priority: TTD EO

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) CEO J. Shyamala Rao

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) executive officer J. Shyamala Rao said on Friday that thousands of devotees flocking to the darshan temple of Lord Venkateswara are being provided at affordable prices Tasty and hygienic food is the top priority of the management.

At a high-level review meeting with officials from various departments, Mr. Rao discussed in detail the quality of food at large TTD hotels and Janatha canteens and their prescribed tariffs with JEO Veerabrahmam.

He also invited culinary experts such as Challeswara Rao of the Culinary Institute of India and Chowdary, managing director of Taj Mahal Group, for suggestions to work out the model for shortlisted branded hotels in Tirumala that offer delicious cuisine at reasonable prices. A detailed PowerPoint presentation on an existing hotel was made.

Later, Mr. Rao held a review meeting with JIO officials to discuss the services provided by them in various departments of TTD.

Annadanam Deputy Administrator Rajendra, Special Officer (Catering) Sastry, JIO representatives Mohsin Abbas, Vijay Kumar, TTD Manager (IT) Nadamuni and others were present.
