iQOO Z9x smartphone unveiled in Hyderabad

The latest iQOO smartphone product “Z9x” was recently unveiled in Hyderabad.

The smartphone is 7.99 mm thick at its thinnest point and has a 6,000 mAh battery that can last for two days on a single charge. It is equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 mobile platform using the latest 4nm process technology.

The smartphone has up to 16GB of expandable RAM (8GB RAM combined with an additional 8GB of expanded RAM and supports expandable storage up to 1TB). The iQOO Z9x comes in Tornado Green and Storm Gray colors and is available on the iQOO e-store and Amazon.

The company said in a press release that the launch of this high-performance, full-featured smartphone is aimed at consolidating the growth of the Vivo sub-brand in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, which have emerged as one of the key markets for iQOO.

This region is the largest contributor to iQOO sales, with sales growing 35% compared to the same period last year. Hyderabad is the Indian city with the No. 1 sales volume of iQOO, with a growth of 28% compared with the same period last year.

Nipun Marya, CEO of iQOO, said: “With our diverse product portfolio, including the flagship iQOO 12, Neo 9 Pro, Z9 and now Z9x, we offer premium smartphone experiences at different price points, attracting huge interest from consumers. And to drive future growth, iQOO Z9x will be produced at Vivo’s Greater Noida plant.
