Family of four, including two children, burned to death in Kerala

On the morning of June 8, a family of four was found charred in their bedroom in Angadikkadavu, Angamaly town near Cochin International Airport.

According to preliminary reports, the deceased were identified as Bineesh, 44, his wife Anumol, 40, and their children Jowana, 8, and Jeswin, 6.

“We received a call around 5.20am and a person came to the station in person to alert us. They initially got the wrong number and sometimes got lost. When our team arrived, the bedroom where they were found was still on fire,” Angama A source from Leigh Fire and Rescue Service said.

When the fire was extinguished, the victims were already dead. Downstairs there was an old woman, allegedly the mother of the deceased, and an assistant.

Police teams and forensic teams have also reached the spot and are collecting evidence.
